Abstract:
Crowdsourcing is a sourcing model in which individuals or organizations obtain goods or services, including ideas, voting, micro-tasks and finances, from a large, relatively open and often rapidly evolving group of participants. Briefly speaking, the workflow of crowdsourcing can be divided into task design/request, task assignment, and quality control (answer aggregation). Task assignment plays a very important role among them and one problem it faced is that not everyone is willing to attend because they are rational economic individuals and assumed “selfish”, which makes incentive mechanisms design significant. In addition to classical incentive mechanism, we also consider the network structure of crowd, which means crowdsourcing information can spread through the population, benefiting new born crowdsourcing platform. Our objective is to design mechanisms that allocate tasks to workers and implement some good properties in the most favorable way to the platform without their payments exceeding the budget.
